Route/Location:
Observed a natural avalanche from before today’s storm in the Lockwood Point area. Slide was at roughly 6000 feet on a north-facing slope; I did not dig a pit in this spot, but did observe a lot of wind transport far down into nearby Suzy Bowl/Bowl 1. Crown appeared to be about 12-18 inches. Slide was about 100 feet wide and 200 feet long.
