Observation Date: 02/18/2015

Route/Location:

Sunny and about 35F, never got that warm wednesday up high.

Wind:
Light

New Snow: 0-3″

Avalanche Activity:
Nothing

Other Comments:
One compression test at 8000ft, east aspect. This snow had not transformed to a spring crust. The top 2-3 inches was going very easily, CT5 and Q1. Another layer at about 25cm deep CT29 Q3 didn’t appear very reactive there. My pit was only about 45 cm deep as it got quite consolidated below that. The fresh 2″ was actually helping the skiing be decent where there were no old tracks or rollers..
