Route/Location:
Lost Trail Pass. Skiing around chair 2.

Weather:
Copious amounts of warm wet snow all morning, air temperature roughly 32 degrees for the first half of day. At 1pm the cold air moved in, heavy snow changed to flurries and air temperature dropped to about 15 degrees. Remained overcast.

Wind:
Occasional 20mph gusts in morning, calming as the day went on.

New Snow: 12+”

Avalanche Activity:
8000′ East aspect-

60cm deep new snow slab failing at ECT 21 Q2 this layer was failing on about 10mm of facets. We could hear loud collapsing of the snow pack while breaking trail.

Other Comments:
Roughly 20″ base with nearly two feet of fresh snow skied great.
