Bottom Line

Today we toured in Crystal Theater. We found sighs of wind scouring and loading. In our test pits we found no instabilities, but we did pull out a few small wind slabs while skiing. As the day warmed up, the snow came heavy. Rollerballs (pinwheels) and loose wet slides on road cuts or steep rock bands were abundant. Today's variety of snow surfaces could provide a slick bed surface for the next storm.
