Bottom Line

Today we toured on an exposed ridge above some clear-cuts. We saw wind scouring and wind loading onto N-facing slopes. We triggered a soft slab on a test slope and dug a test pit to investigate further. We had easy propagation (ECTP5) on a thin crust layer 18 inches(45cm) down. We chose not to ski any wind-loaded terrain today.
