Played around in the foothills of the Missions, found a variety of snow depths. Continuous, 30+ cm of snow on North to East aspects above 5,800. Noticed significant windloading on Northwest to East aspects.
Dug pit on a East face with a slope of 30°, around 6,800 ft. 75 cm deep, with 15 cm of facets at the ground level. 30 cm of new snow from Tuesday, 11/23, and 30 cm of windloaded snow on the new snow.
CT 19 on new snow/ windslab interface at 45cm. ECT 15 with progation halfway across column on same layer. Column pried off on facet layer.
