The new snow came in heavy and wet below 6000', but above it stayed cool and relatively dry. Overall snow depth is 2-4 feet depending mostly on elevation. Surface conditions were decent above 6000' and challenging on all but fat skis below. The forecast looks good for improving surface conditions as it cools and the area recieves new snow. Watch out for melt/freeze crusts until additional snow accumulates. Logs and rock hazards are slowly being buried. There were no widespread signs of instability, but staying on lower angle terrain was chosen.
