Observations
Wind was hammering the high ridges and moving plenty of snow. Dug one pit at 8,400’ on an east aspect. No propagation in the ECT but clean break at the new snow interface 30cm down when levered. Otherwise, the snowpack appeared strong. Skiing was variable on wind scoured, wind buffed, crusts, and finally supportable down low.
