Observations

Performed a test by making a side hill pass in a low consequence area. Observed slab cracking out from along ski tracks.

Advanced Observations

Observed Avalanche Problem #1: 
Wind Slab
Comments: 
West of warming hut. 11:30am. 2.5” wind slab on the NE aspect at 6400’ elevation. Wind slab was just below the ridge top with a small cornice. Moderate wind out of the NW on ridge tops. Weather was overcast and no precipitation.
