There was a light sw wind that shiftes to NW in afternoon, mostly limited to ridge tops. No significant test results (CTN, ectx) at 6840 on NE slope. There was a freezing fog that moved in on 2/3 around 3:30 pm that changed the snow from blower on 2/3 to zipper crust on all aspects on 2/4, skiing was better in shelter areas with thickish trees. The snow under the crust felt wind slabby at & just below ridgeline on ne aspect, but did not react in pit test or ski cut. Below 5400' there was a couple inches of cream on a stout crust. The snow was really wet & sticky below 5100'.
