We skied the bowl below Bass Creek Crags. There were some large gusts swirling in the basin and across the way on the starting zone of Pinball but it did not seem to be loading anything substantially.
Wind slabs were present above 6,000ft but were unreactive when we were skiing and skinning. We did not see any red flags but chose to keep the day mellow.
Other than substantial boosh on the ski out it was a nice sunny day with not as much warming as we had expected.
