Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

We skied the glades to tag alder lake. Wind was very gusty, swirling and changing direction near the summit.
Dug a pit at 7860 ft on an ESE facing 29 degree wind loaded slope. Results were ECTP19 @ 105cm. We stuck to the low angle glades on the northern side of the lake. No whumphing, cracking or hollow sounds observed.
