Observations

We saw a couple of dry, loose avalanches that had occurred in the area of the Gash Point headwall (about a 35-degree slope), at the top of the South Bowl. No skiers nearby. About 12" of new snow up high, with heavy snowfall periodically during the day. No wind, temp about 20 degrees. We also triggered a couple of small sluffs on 35-degree rollovers on the middle Gash ridge.
