Comments:

Ski cut below a semi protected ridge triggered a storm slab between 10-12 inches thick on a ~33° slope. 20 ft wide by 10ft slab immediately turned to sluff and nothing below pulled out.

No evidence of windloading overnight, evidence of some wind loading on N-E slopes from prior days. 6-8 inches of new snow above 6,000 ft.

ECT 6 no propagation on new snow interface, ECT 9 no propagation below highest melt/freeze crust.

3 separate melt/freeze crusts 25 cm down, 29 cm down, and 32 cm down .
