Spent a few days skiing around the yurts in seeley. Due to cold temps we choose to keep it very mellow. Skied north and east aspects all above 6800’. near ridge line we found wind affected snow on both sides of ridge. There were also well developed cornices on north and south sides on the ridge. We found lovely deep pow lower down in sheltered terrain. In our pit we dug on a N aspect 6900’ ectn16 40cm down. Didnt see buried surface hoar in out pit. On shovel sheer this layer failed with easy force. Winds were light to moderate observed blowing snow all along the ridge at the lookout. Skies were clear awesome views.
