Dug a pit on the climbers ridge above Lappi lake. in Bass creek. NE aspect, 6800', snow depth 150cm. ECTX, and we were mindful of a crust/facet sandwich similar to that found at Gash point earlier this week, ~45cm down. No propagation or partial collapses on this later in our pit, and did not break cleanly with a shovel shear. We skied the main NE run from the point down to the lake, the upper portion of the SE bowl off of Lappi proper, and the exit bowl to the west of the Lappi cirque. Found a wild wind/sun surface crust in the south bowl near ridgeline, and fantastic dry/unconsolidated dad pow on all N-ish aspects, which required a bit of slough management on steeper slopes. Some recent minor point releases could be seen on Pinball wizard, seemingly from warming. No other signs of instability observed.
