Observations

We were able to get a reasonable view into Sawtooth and Canyon creeks during a Sunday tour in upper Canyon creek. There was up to 4" of light density snow from Sunday morning which produced inconsequential natural and skier triggered avalanches on all aspects. We could see evidence of widespread avalanches during last week's atmospheric river event - lots of large wet debris piles, glide cracks and avalanches, etc on all aspects. The underlying snow surface was frozen up to about 7,000 feet and consolidated but less frozen above that.
