Observations

Toured up from 6,000 ft to 7,000 ft on an W face, with slope angles in the low 30s. Warm temps (mid to high 30s?) with a S wind coming down the valley. Found small windloaded pockets on NW side of small rolls. Cracking and occasional collapsing on switch back. New snow on top the rain crust hadn't bonded well to the crust below. Snow above rain crust was warm, heavy, and starting to slab up quite a bit compared to 5 days ago. Kept it mellow and in the trees today.

Sled road in had 2 separate 200 yard mud patches and was melting quickly below 5,000 ft.
