Dug a pit on north facing aspect at about 7900'. Results were ct6 rp @ 10 (new snow), ct13 sp @40, ct29 sp@80; ECTN21 @40. PSTend @90/100.
Several test slopes near the ridge produced nothing notable, but unintentionally ended up on an easy face and found a more pronounced crust in a hand pit and some indication that the snow on top could break cohesively on test slope.
Had some sluffing on steeper north facing aspects. Snow on the dark side is fantastic!
