Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

I work at Travelers' Rest State Park in Lolo and always check the North Summit of Lolo Peak for signs of avalanche. While we are a long ways away, I can usually see evidence of an avalanche with my long lens. This slide is a little difficult to see, but it extends well over half way across the face. I look up there every day and this slide had to occur in the past day or two.
