Observations

On 4/20/2022 we travelled from 5,100-8,200 ft on W,S, and E aspects. Toured up a WSW ridge from F.S.R. 4353 to a notch S of the summit, then travelled N along the ridgeline to Sunday Mountain giving cornices wide berth , we then skied down the 24-35° SE ridge. We then climbed back to the notch skiing the top 1,000 ft. down with 20cm of manageable dry loose to about 6,800' where the snow surface became wet. At this point we traversed out of the path to travel down the ridge through dense timber. We went over to survey the slides and debris piles that Ryan Sorenson observed on 3/28 and 4/6. We did not see any more recent avalanches than these. Did not observe shooting cracks, collapsing or whumpfing.
