Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

Toured up to the top of lockwood pt and found lots of collapsing snow - and the collapsing seemed to be traveling quite a distance. Dug at pit at 6400' on e-ne aspect and go ECTP 11 @ 52 cm with a height of snow 94 cm. Lots of long, beautiful surface hoar - makes for a musical descent. We felt like the snow was telling us to be thoughtful of our terrain choice, so found 30 degrees of amazing glory powder!
