Observation Date: 03/01/2021
Route/Location:
Skied trees skier’s left of main path before rejoining the path lower down.
Weather:
Light winds on Point 6, calm in bowl. Sun!
Wind:
Light out of West, obvious wind affect in the open in the bowl, but unaffected in the trees.
New Snow: 0-3″
Avalanche Activity:
Debris observed down the entirety of main path but covered in new snow and wind deposited snow. Appeared to have point released from the steep, thin terrain at the top but there were other larger chunks of debris in the slide path as well. I assume from an older cornice fall or windslab buried under wind deposited snow.
