A free 1 hour avalanche awareness lecture will be presented from 6pm to 7pm on February 10 at the Lifelong Learning Center located at 310 S Curtis St, in Missoula.
The West Central Montana Avalanche Center will present a free one hour lecture on avalanche awareness and safety. The lecture will focus on types of avalanches, how they form, why they’re dangerous and how to avoid them. The lecture will be led by a local avalanche professional and include video, slides and a Q & A session.
