Avalanche Awareness presentation for snowmobiles, hosted by the Bitterroot Ridge Runners. This presentation will cover basic avalanche awareness and safety including; how avalanches work, where they are likely to occur, and what rescue gear you need and how to use it. This talk will be geared towards aspects of avalanche safety specific to snowmobiles and will be led by avalanche specialists from the West Central Montana Avalanche Center.
