Route/Location:
Southern of the twin facing east bowls. Skied lower angled section of bowl, approximately 28 degrees.

Weather:
Snowing all day, cloudy, strong winds blowing on ridge.

Wind:
Wind blowing out of the southwest, a lot of snow transport, slabs forming.

New Snow: 6-12″

Avalanche Activity:
Triggered an avalanche 50-75 feet away, no one was caught in the slide. It broke away where the bowl rolls over. Crown was aproximately 3.5ft deep, and 100 ft wide. Aspect was east facing, 7800ft, rollover sighted from above was about 35 degrees, weak layer is 30cm from ground.

Other Comments:
We went and inspected near the crown the next day, and dug a pit above it. Snow depth 125cm, CT 4 with significant energy, broke 30cm from the ground on faceted and crust layer. ECT 12 broke at same layer, significant energy. Stay safe, this snow pack needs time.
