Downing Mountain zone.

Weather:
Partly sunny with moderate westerly winds. 4-6 inches overnight 2/11.

New Snow: 3-6″

Avalanche Activity:
noticed some small wet loose on steep solar aspects.

Other Comments:
@ 7600 ft on a NE aspect we found 230cm of snow. ECTP19 down 40cm on small surface hoar (1.5-2mm) and light density decomposing fragments.
@6400 ft on a SE aspect we found 115cm of snow with a crust down 40cm. no instability tests were recorded.

We skied a variety of slopes NE – E – SE slopes from 30-35+ degrees.
There was also near surface instability noted within the new snow layers about 20cm down.
