The Level 1 Refresher course is designed for students already familiar with the content of a Level 1 Avalanche class. The course consists of a 3-hour evening classroom session, and a full-day field session. On the field session day, we will travel in and around backcountry avalanche terrain.

- Trip plans and use of the avalanche advisory
- Route selection and terrain considerations
- Companion rescue scenario
