Join the West Central Montana Avalanche Center on December 4th for a follow-up to the introductory avalanche awareness lecture. A brief review will be followed-up by a discussion of specific factors that lead to snow instability, suggested protocols for recreating in avalanche terrain, human factors that lead to accidents and necessary equipment for avalanche safety and study. 6:30pm at REI in Missoula. Registration is limited and required but the course is Free, and you must have attended part 1.
