Join the West Central Montana Avalanche Center on November 27th for an introductory presentation about avalanches and avalanche awareness. The presentation will include avalanche footage, slides, discussion and a Q & A session. The focus will be on how to recognize and avoid dangerous avalanche terrain and conditions. 6:30pm at REI in Missoula. Registration is limited and required but the course is Free. This is part 1 of 2 evening sessions.
