Description

Please join us at The Dram Shop Central for a fun evening of local beer, community, and conversation in support of the West Central Montana Avalanche Center!

Come meet Andrew Schauer, the new Director of the West Central Montana Avalanche Center, and connect with the people working to keep our backcountry community informed and prepared throughout the winter.

Learn more about the Avalanche Center, get a behind-the-scenes look at avalanche forecasting and field operations, and hear what’s ahead for the upcoming winter season. This informal gathering is a great opportunity to ask questions, share experiences, and get to know the people behind your local avalanche forecasts.

Enjoy a pint, connect with fellow backcountry enthusiasts, and help support the Avalanche Center’s mission of providing avalanche forecasts, education, and public safety information throughout West Central Montana.

Whether you’re a longtime backcountry traveler or simply curious about the work of your local Avalanche Center, everyone is welcome!
