Observation Date: 03/07/2021

Route/Location:
I glassed numerous avalanches in upper Bear, Sweathouse and Big creeks from atop Gash Point yesterday.

Weather:
Partly Sunny.

Wind:
Enough to keep the air and snow surface temps from heating up.

New Snow: 0-3″

Avalanche Activity:
I have to imagine that these slides occurred during the serious heat up and thaw we saw last week.
1. Just west and below of Gash Point Summit. N/NE, 45 degrees, 8,000′
2. E facing terrain above N fork Bear Creek, E, 35-40 degrees, 7,800′
3. E facing terrain on the state line above Packbox Creek, 35 degrees, 7,800′

Other Comments:
I also spotted many glide avalanches in each of these drainages; either ones that had slid on the granite slabs and others that were opening up.
