Observation Date: 03/13/2021

Route/Location:
Chaffin creek, N face of Sugarloaf

Weather:
Sunny and warm

Wind:
None

New Snow: No New Snow

Avalanche Activity:
Wet slides pretty near constant coming off of south facing slopes.

Other Comments:
North facing aspect at about 8000 ft had 340cm of snow with no concerning stability found and great skiing. South faces were the complete opposite with a thin and rapidly deteriorating snowpack. Wet slides and rollers were almost a constant all day long. We traversed quickly under those faces and stuck to shadier slopes.
