Observation Date: 01/24/2015

Route/Location:
East and west aspects 5500-7500 ft

Weather:
Cold and snowy then hot and rainy.

Wind:
Wasn’t enough to move the mush.

New Snow: 0-3″

Avalanche Activity:
Widespread whoomfing and collapsing both the day prior to and after the rain. There were two crust/facet combo layers in the top 50 cm of the snow giving CT11 and CT18 Q2, tested the day before it rained to 7000 ft. Surprisingly we did not see any cracking or slides, just the normal roller stuff after it heated up.
