Route/Location:
Toured up to the waterfall lines up at Crystal Theater. Dug pit @ 6200′ on a NW slope. No obvious signs of instability.

Weather:
Sunny, 28 degrees with a slight breeze.

Wind:
<10mph winds, no snow transportation.

New Snow: 0-3″

Avalanche Activity:
No Avalanche activity seen.

Other Comments:
Pit showed 120cm total snowpack. Obvious melt freeze crusts 70 and 80cm down. ECTN14 @ 30cm. ECTX @ 80cm. Although we did not get the layer @ 80cm to react in normal tests, after 2 more hits the layer under the melt freeze collapsed and propagated across entire column. (ECTP32?)
