Snowing, temp around freezing (7000 ft), 25 deg(8000)

Strong >25 mph,wit gusts primarily NNW, above 7000 ft snowing sideways. Warm temp and wind driven snow forming dense layer above lighter snow. This punchy layer was 3-4 inches deep and is not just in wind deposition areas. Wind (drifting) in exposed areas <7000 ft.

New Snow: 3-6″

Avalanche Activity:

Other Comments:
This upside/down ,wind affected layering is reactive to ski cut. Also hand pit easily moved. Easily felt with ski pole probe. Something to watch with additional loading (new snow/wind deposition). Dont forget your skin wax.
