Route/Location:
Up and down the northeast ridge (summer trail) to the summit. Peaked into the east bowl.

Booted lower 1300′, breakable crust 5600′ to 7000′. Great powder skiing on upper 2100′ of mountain.

Weather:
Scattered snow flurries, intermittent wind out of the west (gusting occasionally), Partly cloudy

Wind:
Gusting wind out of the west, blowing snow

New Snow: 3-6″

Avalanche Activity:
Avalanche debris at the bottom of the east bowl. (Probably old debris)

Other Comments:
Dug a pit at 8400′ in 160cm of snow on a northeast facing 20 degree slope. 12cm of new snow on top of a thin melt crust. CT16 Q1 low energy on facets 30cm down from surface. CT20 Q1 low energy on faceted snow 48cm down from surface.
