Route/Location:
Mt Fuji at Lolo Pass. Approach from Lolo Pass Visitor Center, Glad Creek. Used groomed track until at the base of Mt Fuji and then cut in to ascend.

Weather:
Between 11 am – 3 pm. Calm wind. 26 degrees Fahrenheit. Low visibility, cloudy, light snow.

Wind:
Calm.

New Snow: 6-12″

Avalanche Activity:
No natural or manmade avalanche activity seen during the day. Stable snow. Very thin crust layer approx. 7 inches down. Not enough to cause a slab.

Great skiing. Truly great.
