Observation Date: 01/21/2018

Northern bowl of “Mini Gash”

Sunny, with increasing light cloud cover (kept most snow surfaces cold/dry)

Calm SSE winds didn’t seem to be transporting much snow

New Snow: No New Snow

Avalanche Activity:
We got a teeny bit of wet slab activity on a steep E aspect rollover at 7200′ on the Thurs/Fri storm snow interface (8″ or so). Less steep and higher elevation aspects didn’t seem to be seeing any surface warming

Other Comments:
Piggy-backed on another party’s pit at 8300′ ENE aspect, obtaining similar results
