Observation Date: 02/11/2018
Still lightly snowing under a persistent cloud.
20 mph, -10 wind chill on the ridge
New Snow: 3-6″
We observed on our way out that birthday chute slid big. Probably 8 ft deposition down in Jenny bowl. Unsure if it was a cornice fall or wind slab as it was up in a cloud.
We did not see widespread cracking on our test slopes, but cornices were large and easy to kick off. Winds have been strong out of NW for several days. NW aspect looked unskiable.
