Weather:
Consistently heavy snowfall and high winds out of the W/SW. Snowfall and wind increased later in the afternoon.

Wind:
Heavy winds with a lot of snow transport. Windslab development on lee slopes.

New Snow: 12+”

Avalanche Activity:
Saw several small soft slab releases on roadcuts and rollovers – E and SE aspects. Observed shooting cracks while touring. New snow has not had time to bond with the crust layer that developed this past week.

Other Comments:
Lots of snow moving in! Low angle slopes are skiing great, but storm and wind slabs are super touchy.
