Observation Date: 04/21/2019
Point 6 area, Galaxy Bowl, bowl below Murphy
40 degrees, light rain
Evidence of numerous naturally triggered loose wet slides on steeper terrain on various aspects. Start points were typically near exposed rock outcroppings.
Ski cuts on NE and S aspects resulted in long-running slides with enough energy to break small diameter trees and carry or bury a human. Recent, rain saturated snow was sliding on a harder underlying bed surface.
