Observation Date: 02/11/2020

Route/Location:
We skied N, S, and E aspects around Point Six in the Rattlesnake.

Weather:
Light snow all day.

Wind:
Winds were moderate out of the west/northwest.

New Snow: 3-6″

Avalanche Activity:
We saw some shooting cracks on a N aspect at around 7500′. Cracks propagated about 20′ wide and 10″ down within the new snow.

Other Comments:
No recent natural or human-triggered avalanches. The shooting cracks seemed like an isolated problem. We covered a lot of ground and did not see any other signs of instability. Main problem for the next few days will be wind loading.
