Observation Date: 03/01/2020

Route/Location:
West of the road—do they call this G-spot? The open ENE trees mostly.

Weather:
Broken sky closing in all the way by about 1:00. Forecast had been for sun. Not very cold, new snow suffering some greenhouse effect but this led to cream on crust rather than dust.

Wind:
Light Westerly

New Snow: 0-3″

Avalanche Activity:
Did not make it into avalanche terrain today but noted poor bonding of new snow to Fri/Sat crusts. Few inches of new snow was dense and topped with graupel, nice snow to turn in but not nearly enough to keep you off the bottom. Main thing I took from the day was the sun never came out in earnest, so hopefully we can get a little more snow this week before it turns to spring again.
