Observation Date: 11/14/2020

McCalla creek bowl mini golf runs, St. Mary Peak.

Intermittent snow,

west wind 20-30mph, gusts 50+

New Snow: 12+”

Avalanche Activity:
There is a very respectable base developing above 7000ft in the N Bitterroot, I probed anywhere from 110-150cm of consolidated storm snow on south facing, non wind loaded slopes at 8000+ft. There was a 20cm refrozen old snow layer under the storm snow, and the new snow was well bonded. We observed no signs of instability.
