Observation Date: 11/28/2020
Route/Location:
Drove to upper lot, snow was sparse until the bottom of North bowl.
Weather:
Wind:
Gusty winds but minimal snow transport, as everything up high was already windpacked and crusty. Old wind pillows observed in N bowl.
New Snow: No New Snow
Avalanche Activity:
Other Comments:
Skied N Facing terrain, decent snow quality in protected areas but most anything in the open was crusty and grabby from wind compaction. No avalanches observed, and no signs of instability; no collapsing, shooting cracks, or hollow-sounding windslab. Stayed on slopes about 30 degrees or less, as cover was still pretty thin up there.
