Observation Date: 02/01/2021

Route/Location:
Up the side of main apron/slide path below pyramid peak to pyramid point.

Weather:
40-50 degrees and overcast

Wind:
Breeze on ridge tops, cornices above east facing slopes building in size.

New Snow: 3-6″

Avalanche Activity:
Two naturals observed most likely from hot sunny conditions on 1/31. Appeared to break near rocks at mid elevations.

Other Comments:
Very warm and greasy day especially below 6500. Overall appears to be slightly below average snowpack especially on S and SW faces below 7k. About 4 inches of fresh snow made for good corn skiing from 8k-7k. Felt like a good day for potential wet slides so stuck to shaded corn away from the major slide paths.
