bass creek trail to north facing “la fin du monde” bowl (past Lappi Lake).

Weather:
partly sunny becoming cloudy with light snow by 3pm.

Wind:
10-20 mph on ridgeline.

New Snow: 3-6″

Avalanche Activity:
no signs of instability during ascent. dry snow above 7,000′. ski penetration 12″ around 8,000. significant sluffing without any propagation where slope was >35.

Other Comments:
lower trail is beginning to melt out but still skiable to within 100 yards of trailhead.
