Other Comments:
These obs come on a tour with Geoff and Hannah Fast. On a NNE aspect @ 7800′ : 245cm HS, CTHBRKQ3X2 down 25cm on a density change, and ECTX. The snowpack is deep and nicely consolidated. No issues with basal facets here. Surface hoar 2-5mm was present on protected and open N-E aspects from 7-8000′. Southerly slopes were taking heat and crusty in the late afternoon. Northerly and shady slopes were holding some nice soft snow.
