Observation Date: 02/28/2014

Skinned up the M trail and then gained the ridge above, stopping just short of the windsock. Started our ascent at 6 am.

Snowing moderately

Very windy, mostly down slope, approx. 30 mph

New Snow: 3-6″

Snow Density:

Avalanche Activity:
No avalanche activity noted, slight collapse under our skin track in several places, but no propogation. Wind had definitely affected the snow on the upper half of Mt. Sentinel. Lower half skied better. Wind slab will most likely be setting up given the strong winds.
